About Our Founder

JP Jean-Pierre

Aglosi’s President / CEO

I started at a very early age problem-solving, small tasks like fundraising to be able to participate in team trips. Organizing chaos when adults were MIA. It became normal to me that I wasn’t surprised when I heard my name as “the fixer”, “the organizer”, the creative one, the person that gets the job done as I got older. My tenacity and confidence to realize this unique situation was constructed from my extended background. As an ex-professional basketball player in Europe, recipient of the “All-American” basketball honor, Hall of Fame inductee, and US Army Veteran–(one of few women in the frontline supporting the 1st Calvary infantry troops desert Storm). I knew when I went to the Army I wasn’t going to stay to retire; fortunately, when I went to war, I promised myself that if I came back alive I was going to finish college and create my path in life. It wasn’t until I made my way back to college that my destiny started taking shape. I learned about the project management profession (PMP) and immediately formulated a plan to be involved with the Project Management Institute (PMI). My first formal project management position was with IBM working on a special team to solve the chaos of the millennium bug.

At the same time my plan to get involved with PMI became a reality. I was able to work remotely in various roles as a Subject Matter Expert on the Internationally level. Simultaneously, I was instrumental in adding structure to the Atlanta chapter PMP exam program. Eventually taking on the role of the PMP Exam chair. Being involved both locally and internationally opened my eyes to the role project managers played in society. The strength, the pitfalls, and most of all the commitment to represent the PMP profession. I continued to contribute to the profession in various roles with Project Management Institute while I consulted for fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, and Blue Cross Blue Shield South Carolina. (Tricare for life project initiation, which serves millions of soldiers and retirees to date, remains my canvas project for BCBSSC). As I took on various positions, I formally built my resume by attaining certifications that would validate my skill set; such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Mediation, Arbitration, Executive Coach, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), 2 bachelor’s degrees (business/telecom), Masters from Georgia Institute of Technology (GeorgiaTech). This list is not exhaustive, but rather an insight as to what makes me well-rounded and open to conquering challenges. Ultimately is the reason why Aglosi, Inc. was formed. To deliver unique solutions one vision at a time to those companies that realize there is more to a project manager than a PMP.
